The first thing that comes to mind for most people when they think of Core Conditioning is six pack abs. Although those muscles are included in the core they are just one part of what having a strong core can do for you.

Strengthening the core is not just about looking for those elusive abs you may have seen one time in your youth.Core workouts and core exercises are about building a stronger abdominal area, lower back muscles, and hip area. These muscles can improve posture and reduce the risk of lower back injury. Lower back injury and pain can be debilitating and can plague someone of any age.
     
Core conditioning workouts will strengthen the muscles around the spine leading to better balance. Regular exercise revolving around functional movement and core stabilization can create good balance. A great piece of equipment to help accomplish these goals is the Bosu Balance Trainer.

Core strength training is done multitude of ways and can be done anywhere. When utilizing a personal trainer there should be access to some other exciting tools of the trade. They are all equally effective when used correctly and under supervision. 

Core exercises are extremely beneficial when performed correctly, but can be harmful when not done right. Be sure to keep conscious of form; to avoid injury. A personal trainer can manage form and increase your core strength over time with hard work.
